John Charlton
Managing Director
John Charlton is the founder and Managing Director of Globalex Consulting. He has 20 years of experience in the legal, consulting and executive search sectors. He specializes in strategic initiatives and cross-border growth solutions on behalf of market-leading financial institutions, corporations and law firms.
His track record includes a number of transformational projects including strategic merger, market entry, new offices and the acquisition of high-value assets – teams, practice leaders, rainmakers – in the UK, Europe and Asia.
Mr. Charlton holds a B.A. and M.A. from Oxford University (New College). He is a UK-qualified lawyer and received a commendation in his law finals (LPC) at the College of Law in London. He has an M.Sc. in Finance (Investment Management) from Cass Business School in London and is qualified as a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA). He also has an M.A. in Art from Sotheby’s Institute in London.
A British citizen, he started his career at EUTELSAT in France, and has lived and worked for extended periods in Tokyo, Hong Kong, Paris, Madrid, the United States and Singapore. He speaks English, French, Spanish and Japanese (JLPT: Level 2).
